Our challenge was to create realtime reporting & communication software for aftermarket business native to IOS and Android.
Through realtime status updates, photos, videos, and messages, technicians keep customers informed throughout the entire repair process, which means there won’t be a need to interrupt the repair process with questions. It gives customers live updates about their car while it’s being repaired. Technicians get more done, and customers get confidence and peace of mind.
We have build chat application at QuickBlox, a cloud communication backend that allows to add Chat, Video Calling and Push Notifications functionality to your mobile, web and desktop apps. Basically, it’s a drag and drop Skype.
Status Updates
Customers will know which state their vehicle is in throughout the entire repair process. Whether it’s waiting for parts to be delivered, halfway taken apart or almost ready, they’ll know —without having to ask you about it.
Images and Video
By showing customers images of progress, they stay informed and trust you to make the necessary repairs on their vehicle. This feature is especially helpful when working on engine problems and discovering and diagnosing mechanical issues.
Text and Voice Messages
Customers can contact a machine shop via text or voicemail. This gives your customers a convenient way to reach out for help, without ringing your phone all day. You can reply to customers at a convenient time, rather than dropping your wrench and picking up the phone to talk.
