Second Loan!
They are almost paperless, based out of the West. All that sun and great food makes them energetic, proactive and good humored. They are compartmentalized, each Team member has a specialty. Jason got me locked in a great rate days before Feds did their 1.5% increase! Then Brandon reviewed all Documents on line, reviewed any deliverables, sent my Appraisal and Notary contacts…they make it as easy as they can. Including doing a soft Credit check to make sure they can help you. As an ex California girl they speak my language. I wish they’d find one or two more ways to reward retuning Customers regarding Closing Costs, but they are a Business. They do waive Appraisal Fee’s, repeat customer and rules). I recommend them and if rates ever go down (?) I would refi again!

smooth sailing to the finish line
As a first-time home buyer, I reached out to NJHMFA Homebuyer Referrals for recommendations. They provided a short list of lenders participating in the program in Bergen county, NJ. A contact at LoanDepot was one of them. I also researched reputable lenders and filled out some short applications with a few clicks. The same contact at LoanDepot was the first one to reach out to me. The stars aligned! Her voice was soothing and patient. She did not rush answering my questions, and explained everything thoroughly. Easy web-based application (as it should be in the 21th century), and documentation exchange and e-signing followed. Under the pressure of my friends, I briefly checked out other lenders, but not only they quoted a higher interest rate, but I also felt the sales pressure from a banking giant or two. I was happy to return to my first choice with LoanDepot. My contact explained to me the housing market history and current conditions, prospects for the future, and provided statistical data on "the cost of waiting" as well as personalized charts outlining the benefits of home ownership. I entered one contract and got out after a low appraisal. I learned so much from this team. Eventually, my ideal home found me, and I closed on the last day of my rate lock. The LoanDepot team acted very professionally and patiently and held my hand all the way to the finish line. I highly recommend LoanDepot to my friends. I will return to LoanDepot for my next real estate project and for refinancing once the rates go down.
